Seahawk Inshore Fishing Report 3/6/08

The inshore fishing is picking up and should be getting better. There are some really good catches of nice size Virginia mullet. I had Cheri from NJ on half day trip with me on 3/6 and she caught 44. We are catching them on shrimp and Berkley Gulp crabs. There are also a some red drum on the flats, around the oyster beds and docks and in the inlets. There are also a few speckled trout in the inlet and in the river. The shad should be showing up at the lock and damn in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Jeff
