Seahawk Inshore Fishing Charters Report 2/16/13

Inshore and Backwater Fishing Remains Good in the Cape Fear Area!!! Redfish, Black Drum, and a few Speckled Trout

The inshore and backwater is still going strong and producing good catches of redfish, black drum, and a few speckled trout. We are catching reds on dead shrimp, live mud minnows, Gulp Baits, and DOA paddletails. The black drum are hiting dead shrimp and the specs are being caught on Gulp Jerk Shads and DOA jerkbaits. Catching reds, specs, and black drum has provided us with lots of action and some great eating fish to take home. Looks like the awesome fishing we are experiencing will continue through the rest of the winter. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we’ll have some good fishing opportunities for the next couple of weeks.

Check out the photos from the trips over the past couple of weeks.

Thanks,
Jeff Wolfe
